Society of Wildflowers Conference ~ Day 3

Final full day of the Society of Wildflowers conference was Saturday, July 20.

Sunday morning most everyone had stuck around but some were going on the optional Disneyland day trip and other's were staying in the area to do other things but a handful of people (like myself) did go back to our respective homes. There was still a lot of fun to be had on Saturday though!

A beautiful breakfast spread.

The Donuttery donuts!

Everyone got one of these on their room door at the Art hotel.
They all had different quotes.

My mega talented friend Cassandra made this display!

I made this! Prepped before the conference using Deco Earth paints and Sizzik shapes of cardboard and also freestyle cut cardboard glued onto a piece of the same thick board.

Mayu Silk Art happening in the underground parking garage.

This design and colors are gorgeous!

My Saturday class was a morning class and I had a few tables set up on the 3rd floor, open air and it was a slightly breezy, sunny and some clouds, of a day.

Playing with Artesprix again! I had more attendees (not all pictured) come hangout and play.

On this day we sublimated on zippered tote bags.

We used the paints, pens and stamp pads to create some cool crafts.

This one was one of my favorites!

Safety first

Other design ideas created before the conference.
I did the 2 on the top left and love them!

Another beautiful spread - this was for lunch

Some nice treats that were shared. I was able to get a banana bread and some granola in a cup.
Delicious, I was a big fan of the banana bread.

The giveaway table that had the instructions of how to participate and what was being given away on the particular day.

The other was art decorated with what seemed to be chalk, in the elevator. Very pretty. Very demure.

Closing words and giveaways happening out by the pool.

Aren't those fringe umbrellas awesome!?

Debra Quartermain giving some closing words that were very nice

Jo and I, she designed the shirt Tony bought me that says Little Miss Crafty

There was a lot done in my day that was not documented. I tried PEMF therapy, info can be found here and that was a neat experience. I didn't take any photos but I laid on a special mat on a table and was still and somewhat quiet ( I tried not to talk a ton ) for a bit of time. I think 20-30 min or so.

I really liked this quote, also found in the elevator.

Later in the evening, LaWanna and I walked up the street to find some dinner and came across this Chinese restaurant, Mandarin King, with good reviews so we decided to try it.

Yes, it was very good and I would eat there again.

Back at the hotel where cleanup and take-down was happening.

That's a wrap on Society of Wildflowers conference 2024!
