February Pinterest Party - Idaho!

February's party happened so early in the month it's weird to think that it is STILL February and it's not time for the next party yet. So far I am keeping the parties to one a month. Go ahead to read for what we made and what we ate in Idaho!

Board of ideas and inspiration can be found here

My mother in law was so kind to let me use her living room and kitchen for the party. Tony & I put up some decorations (peep that cute wood heart banner) and some food and swag for the crafters coming.

Lets start with the food! Everyone brought so many great treats.

Our first time making popcorn balls, they turned out pretty good. I feel like they were lacking in strong flavor but would try my hand (Tony's hand) at making these again.

Heart shaped Rice Krispie dipped treats!

Yummy Jello dessert. If I can get the link for this, I'll add it later.

We also had a cheese and salsa dip mix and a fruit tray. A little savory and healthy to balance out the sweet is always appreciated.

Now on to the crafts!

These were so fun and easy to put together. Felt, embroidery floss and some patience to stitch around the edges and to attach the heart. Fill with rice, finish stitching and wah-lah. These turned out so adorable!

I used my Cricut Joy to cut and cut and cut these 4 layers of hearts out. Labor of love for sure. If I'd figured out this craft before I came to Idaho, I would have used a bigger Cricut machine to cut these. The Joy worked great but I could only do 1-2 hearts at a time so it took quite awhile to get done. But they sure turned out cute once they were put together!

This is something I put together before coming to Idaho. I did bring the wood burning tools but everyone opted to just add keychains to the wood I'd already burned. I got Jenga style blocks from Dollar Tree and used this woodburning tool from Plaid. I have an alphabet set which worked great and did freestyle for the heart shapes.

Some people wrote their own and some people used pre-done ones I printed from the website. Either way, they turned out great!

This craft was super fun and oh so easy to do! I followed the directions from

and am thrilled with how mine turned out. I got the heart shaped mold from one of my sisters but I believe it came from Joann's. I think the rose shaped one was from Walmart. Supplies to make the soaps came from Hobby Lobby.

What do you think about what we made and/or ate? Which was your favorite?
