Halloween is one of my more favorite holidays and I lean towards cute decor instead of creepy/bloody/super spooky. For the past few years I host a Halloween theme Pinterest party with food and crafts but whatever kind of party you decide to host this upcoming Halloween, photo props are a fun way to document and celebrate the holiday.
I don't know if you have seen the new Poster Board Brights from Cricut but I was able to get a package to test out and they are amazing! The colors are so vibrant and you can tell just by handling the material that it's really good quality.
The instructions on the inside of the packaging tell you exactly what settings to use on your Cricut machine which was super helpful to me because I've never needed to cut poster board in the past. Mainly I'm a vinyl and cardstock chick. In this case, it was a custom setting under Poster Board - Cricut.
Here are some of the props I made with the colors I had available.
Frankenstein!
Jack-O-Lantern teeth!
Show me your fangs....
There are lots of ideas to choose from in Design Space and here are all the ones I ended up with. I typed in Halloween Masks which brought up quite a bit but I scrolled through and found a bunch I liked. I think they all turned out perfect and the poster board cut like butter! My Cricut Explore did a great job, even the ones with lots of detail like the wings of the bat and the spider design.
Which one is your favorite?
Now, for something very exciting.....
